Initio Learning Trust is looking for a IT Technician to join our fantastic IT team. Could this be you?
Actual Salary £25,989 - £27,254 per annum (Grade 6)
This job is full time, and is offered on a permanent basis, with a planned start date in February/March 2026.
We are looking for someone to join our friendly team of IT support technicians, offering excellent customer service via our helpdesk as well as in person; working on-site in our schools which are located from Bridport across to Verwood in Dorset.
A current driving licence is therefore required, and your own transport is essential for travel across multiple sites and schools. This role will initially be based at Corfe Hills School in Broadstone.
Our ideal candidate will be able to evidence:
Strong IT skills
Previous experience of working in an IT service desk environment
Excellent communication & customer service skills
Intermediate level skills in Office Applications
Knowledge of Google workspace for Education / Active directory / Helpdesk software
They will also be:
A strong team player
Flexible and adaptable
A quick learner
Proactive
Able to manage their own workload
