Bridport Primary School is looking for a Administration Officer to join our fantastic team. Could this be you?

Actual Salary £21,323 - £21,662 per annum (Grade 5)

This job is Full Time - Term Time Only: 37 hours per week. 39 weeks per year, term time includes Inset Days.

It is offered on a Permanent basis.

Approximate start date: 14 July 2025

Bridport Primary School is looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, personable and highly organised Admin Officer to ensure the smooth running of our day to day operations. You will also act as the initial point of contact for parents, visitors and other stakeholders so will be an ambassador for the school and embody the value, vision and ethos of the school in all interactions.  Previous experience of working in a school office environment is advantageous.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is well presented and articulate, with good communication skills;

  • Has strong interpersonal skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents

  • Has superb attention to detail and organisational skills;

  • Is self-motivated dedicated and consistent;

  • Has the ability to deal with new challenging situations;

  • Is a strong team player, who can use their own initiative;

  • Has a positive and flexible attitude;

  • Has experience of working in a school office / office environment and/or has the skills to run the office of a primary school (advantageous);

  • Has strong ICT skills, including fast and accurate keyboard skills.

A clean driving licence and your own transport is essential for travel across the Trust’s multiple sites and schools.
