We are seeking to appoint an inspiring, enthusiastic and highly motivated Food and Textiles teacher committed to providing the best quality learning experience for our students. This position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage our students in the practical and creative aspects of these subjects. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, innovative, and committed to delivering high-quality lessons in a supportive and dynamic school environment.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the wider Trust team, join our well-established and highly popular Design and Technology department, and play a key role in ensuring students receive high-quality lessons and outstanding extracurricular opportunities. For the full-time post, the majority of teaching will be within the DT department, with a small number of hours allocated to areas outside of this specialism. We may consider part time.

Lockyer's Middle School is part of a successful pyramid of first, middle and upper schools in the Corfe Mullen area and is part of Initio Learning Trust. Our children join us in Year 5, aged 9 and make the important transition from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3, before moving to upper school at the end of Year 8, aged 13.
