Allenbourn Middle School is looking for a Office Administrator to join our fantastic team. Could this be you?

Actual Salary 21,323 - 21,662 per annum per annum (Grade 5)

This job is Full Time - Term Time only for 37 hours per week and 39 weeks per year.

It is offered on a permanent basis 

Approximate start date - June 2025.

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our lovely and friendly office team as an Administrator, based within our busy and dynamic school office. This is a Grade 5 role, reporting to the Office Manager. 

Within this administrative role, you will;

  • To assist with administration of attendance across our school

  • To assist with finance administration, processing orders and invoices

  • Maintaining computerised systems, producing reports and letters as required

  • Support the management of data, tracking and providing reports as required

  • Working alongside the Office Manager to maintain the school website and social media

  • Send and respond to school communications

  • Acting as an ambassador of the school whilst welcoming parents and visitors

  • Updating pupil data

  • Deal with situations of a sensitive/confidential nature

  • Support with reprographics

  • To train as a first aider to support with this across the school

Appropriate training will be provided to enable you to succeed and grow within this crucial and exciting role. 

The working pattern for this role, if full time, is 37 hours per week, as follows:

  • 8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday

  • a current first aid qualification is desirable but not essential as training will be provided for the successful candidate

  • experience of working in a school is desirable but not essential
